What is LIFE Moonset?

  LIFE Moonset is an innovative and sustainable transportation solution designed for night workers and those with demanding work schedules. The project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, enhance mobility accessibility, and promote sustainable transportation behaviors across Europe.
​With a focus on creating positive impacts for both workers and the environment, Life Moonset provides a practical solution for cities, industrial/commercial districts and companies striving to achieve climate neutrality.

Vienna

In Vienna, the pilot will address nighttime commuting challenges for employees, living outside city boundaries.​​

Lisbon

The DRT service in Lisbon will serve airport staff traveling early morning when public transport is unavailable.​
​

Ruse

In Ruse the DRT service will provide transportation solutions for residents of the city and suburban areas traveling to the industrial zones.

Project Objectives

Sustainability
The project aims to reduce the carbon footprint of transportation
by promoting ride-sharing and limiting the need for car ownership.

It facilitates access to transportation for socioeconomically
disadvantaged workers, improving their mobility and quality of life.
